The Nada Foundation has summoned a multi-stakeholder group (including civil society organizations, healthcare professionals, legislators, engineers, drivers, private sector representatives, road traffic victims and their families among others) to generate a list of minimal safety requirements to be integrated into the new Egyptian traffic law.
The list has been consensually agreed upon and is to be used as the reference document for advocacy and communication of the concerned stakeholders. This massive stakeholder advocacy effort will persist until the new law is issued and put into action.
