VIA Program: Delivering Road Safety Messages and Empowering the new young generation to take action
The Nada Foundation implemented the VIA program, VIA is funded by Total Egypt. This programme is developed with the support of Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP), which is hosted by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The Ramatan language school hosted the program on 28th and 29th of September 2021.
VIA is a global road safety education programme for children aged 10 to 18. Designed as a modular, flexible, accessible and easily replicable programme, VIA can be implemented anywhere in the world. It is built to work in different contexts, adapting to the local needs and environment, based on internationally recognized best practices of child road safety.
The VIA is following an approach that targets children and young people are central in sustainably impacting knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. Designed by road safety and education experts, VIA takes an innovative and structured approach to learning that connects the value of life with safer practices in traffic, taught through an active, emotional, and creative methodology.
