
The Launching of Policy Briefs on Low Emission Zones in Egypt
The NADA Foundation attends the launching event of the policy paper on Low Emission Zones (LEZs) and the prerequisites for sustainable cities and clean air in Egypt, held by the FRIEDRICH-EBERT-STIFTUNG (Egypt Office) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and the Center for Environment and Development for the Arab Region and Europe (CEDARE). The policy paper aims to introduce Low-Emission Zones (LEZs) concepts in Egypt in an accessible manner to the general public, the non experts and experts. It aims to discuss the position of the country in terms of readiness to implement LEZs policies and recommend how to meet such ambitions in a manner suitable for the current circumstances. The launching event was attended by a number of government and research institutions.
