Workshop on the List of Minimal Requirements for Safety
The mission of the NADA Foundation can only be achieved through a strong commitment and continuous collaboration between all involved stakeholders, namely government, civil society, legislators and the private sector.
For this purpose, NADA has assembled 30 participants that represent civil Society Organizations, healthcare professionals, legislators, engineers, drivers, private sector representatives, road traffic victims and their families among others with the following mission: To prepare a list of society’s Minimal Requirements for the new traffic law in Egypt. A list that is consensually agreed upon, grouping the most basic aspects that must be covered in the new law. This list will then be used as the reference document for advocacy and communication of the concerned stakeholders, each using it as an advocacy tool upon government officials, parliament members and the media.
